Wildcats crush rival Bulldogs

The cross town rivalry between Watson Chapel and White Hall is usually very competitive, but this year it was a one-sided event. Coming into Friday night’s contest, the White Hall Bulldogs had been struggling to put a complete game together, and the struggles continued against the Watson Chapel Wildcats in a mercy rule game.

Bulldogs won’t roll over for Wildcats

Even though things have not gone the way White Hall wanted them to, they’re still playing this season with an optimistic approach. At this point, it’s easy for White Hall to hang its head, but the team has continued to work.

State Champions

White Hall took home the 15-year-old Junior Babe Ruth South Arkansas state tournament championship after winning seven straight elimination games. The team defeated McGehee twice on Wednesday to win the tourney, which was played in Camden. White Hall will travel to Dumas, Texas, to play in the Southwest Regional tournament, beginning on Friday, July 24.
