On Aug. 29, Lawonna Whaley, 37, reported that she was pumping gas at the Big Red Travel Plaza at 8110 Sheridan Road when Robert Rauls, 47, pulled up behind her vehicle, got out and started arguing with her.

- On July 24, Officer Robert Rogers was off duty inside the Dollar General store at 8516 Dollarway Road and while at the checkout counter, was approached by store employees who reported a possible shoplifting in progress. The employee was also on the phone calling 911.

Oct. 12 — Two vehicles were damaged in a parking lot collision at White Hall High School at the conclusion of a football game, Patrolman Robert Rogers said. Sara Ruggeri of 636 Noble Lake Road, Pine Bluff, was quoted as saying she had parked her 2008 Lexus outside Bulldog Stadium and found the vehicle had been struck by a second vehicle that had left the scene. A witness provided police with a description and license plate number that was traced to David A. Mailloux Jr. of 7519 Airport Road, Hot Springs. Sgt. Sandy Castleberry said Mailloux acknowledged he struck the Lexus with his 2003 Honda Civic as he was backing up, checked and didn't see any damage, and then left the parking lot. — Police invested a second hit and run parking lot accident at Moody Elementary School following the game, Patrolman Brian R. Hornsby wrote in a report. Alishia Orrell of 706 England St., White Hall, was quoted as saying she had parked her 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer at the school and found the passenger side mirror missing and several scratches on her car upon returning. Oct. 15 — Patrolman Celena Harbison investigated a parking lot collision involving a car and a pickup truck in the 7100 block of Sheridan Road in Woodlands Plaza. The officer said a 1999 Ford Crown Victoria driven by Gloria Webb of 6425 Hosman, Pine Bluff, collided with a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado pickup driven by Teresa Ann Camp of 114 Carolina Drive, Pine Bluff, as both vehicles were backing out of parking spaces. — Starr Perez of 304 Maddox St. told Patrolman Brian Hornsby a bicycle owned by one of her children was stolen from the porch of the family residence between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Oct. 18 — A White Hall man was arrested here by officers of the Pine Bluff Police Department's Vice and Narcotics Unit and the Tri-County Drug Task Force after police seized a quantity of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia while serving a search warrant at a house at 801 W. Holland Ave. Billy Brown, 49, admitted the drugs were his in an interview, Detective Richard McCorvy stated in a probable cause affidavit. McCorvy said the search resulted in the seizure of three plastic bags containing a crystal-like substance believed to be methamphetamine and digital scales. Investigators also located a dirt bike that had been reported stolen at White Hall during the search, the arrest report indicated. District Court Judge Kim Bridgforth set a $15,000 bond for Brown after ruling prosecutors had probable cause to charge him with possession of a controlled substance with purpose to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia. Brown was ordered to return to court Nov. 30. — Lloyd F. Hurst of 509 Kelly St., White Hall, told Patrolman Brian R. Hornsby a buck deer ran into the path of his northbound 1999 Chevrolet Malibu on Robin Road, adding the animal ran off after being struck by the car. Oct. 19 — A northbound 2001 Jeep driven by Kimberly D. Allred of 505 N. Bryant St., Pine Bluff, overturned after the driver lost control while turning onto Interstate 530 from U.S. 65-B, Police Chief Richard D. Wingard said. The driver was quoted as saying she lost control while looking for an object in her purse and the vehicle left the roadway and began to roll. — Patrick Bass, 21, of 5403 W. Short 4 th Ave., Pine Bluff, and Danyelle Brown, 21, of 1305 W. 18 th Ave., Pine Bluff, were charged with possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on Dollarway Road by Patrolman Robert Rogers. The officer said he seized a quantity of marijuana and a partially smoked marijuana from the vehicle before Bass, the driver of the car, and Brown were taken to the W.C. "Dub" Brassell Adult Detention Center in Pine Bluff. Fire log Oct. 15 An alarm company indicated a fire at the Susan Kablubar residence, 923 Parkway, at 4:34 p.m. The alarm was cancelled as the first fireman arrived at the fire station.

White Hall man arrested on drug charges

Pine Bluff Police Vice and Narcotics Officers and the Tri-County Drug Task Force seized a small quantity of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia Thursday and arrested a White Hall man after serving a search warrant at a house in White Hall.

Oct. 10 Phillip Vineyard of 605 Nancy St., White Hall, told Patrolman Brent Bridges the license plate on his utility trailer was apparently lost several days earlier when it was being used by a family member. Oct. 11 Janet D. Azlin of 114 Dogwood Ave., White Hall, told Sgt. Sandy Castleberry that she backed into a second vehicle while leaving the Fred's store parking lot, 8515 Dollarway Road, but the second vehicle, a small, gold color car, quickly left the lot. Azlin's 2011 Chevrolet Equinox sustained damage to the right rear bumper, the officer wrote in his report.

Sept. 19 Two northbound pickup trucks collided on Bulldog Drive south of Holland Avenue, Patrolman Mike Monk said. The officer quoted Daniel D. Funderburg of 3005 Reed Drive, Pine Bluff, as saying his 2002 Chevrolet Silverado struck the rear of a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Colton Cranford of 210 Opie Lane, White Hall, who had stopped on the street leading to White Hall High School. Sept. 24 Phillip D. Weaver of 2300 O'Mary Drive, White Hall, was quoted by Patrolman Tommy Kelly that someone had accessed his debit card the preceding day and made two unauthorized charges totaling almost $55. Weaver said he contacted the credit union that issued the card and requested a block on the account. Sept. 24 Three westbound vehicles were involved in a chain-type collision on Sheridan Road at the Interstate 530 interchange, according to Patrolman Robert Rogers. Two of the three were stopped in the westbound turn lane, preparing to turn south on I-530 when the accident occurred. Guy T. Nelson III of 141 Juniper Lane, Monticello, was quoted as telling the officer he was also in the turn lane and preparing to stop, but his foot struck the gas pedal, not the brake, and his 1996 Mercury Sable struck the rear of a 2008 Toyota Highlander driven by Regina Lunsford of 307 Bunker Hill, White Hall. Lunsford said the impact pushed her SUV into the rear of a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado pickup driven by Hunter Hall of 10224 Arkansas 133, Pine Bluff, Rogers' report indicated. Set. 26 A pickup truck and car collided on Holland Avenue west of Michael Ann, Patrolman Stephen Moreau wrote in an accident report. The officer said an eastbound 2000 Toyota pickup truck driven by Garrett Keedy of 1100 Goodman, White Hall, was struck in the rear by a 2006 Hyundai car driven by Courtney J. McKinley of 7500 Sulphur Springs Road, Pine Bluff. Sept. 27 A 2013 Chevrolet Camaro parked in the parking lot of the Fred's store, 8515 Dollarway Road, was damaged when a parked 2000 Pontiac Grand Am apparently slipped out of park and rolled into the Camaro, Moreau said. The officer said the owner of the 2013 model vehicle, Elizabeth Eaker of 1405 Goodman Ave., White Hall, and Joyce Howell, driver of the Pontiac, were inside the store when the collision occurred.

Sept. 16 Christopher M. Bryan of 212 N. Estates Cove, White Hall, was quoted by Patrolman Brian R. Hornsby as saying his 2004 Nissan Titan pickup truck was struck from the rear as he was stopped on Colonial Park Drive for a traffic light on Dollarway Road. Bryan said the driver of the 2002 Suzuki four-door car, identified as Jeffery A. Flannigon of 1413 Mark Twain Blvd., Redfield, agreed to drive to a nearby bank and obtain money to pay for damages to the pickup if police were not called, then left the scene. The driver of the pickup reported the accident to White Hall police. Less than an hour later, Redfield Patrolman Jason Anzaldua found the unoccupied Suzuki near Exit 20 off Interstate 530, Hornsby's accident report said, and contacted Flannigon at his residence. Hornsby issued Flannigon court citations for leaving the scene of an accident and driving on a suspended driver's license, the accident report indicated. Sept. 17 A man and a woman were arrested for investigation of the theft of scrap metal, Patrolman Stephen Moreau wrote in his report, after he stopped the pickup truck in which they were riding on White Hall Road at Parkway Drive. The truck, driven by Lacey Louise Solloway, 35, of 14 Grant Road 585, Redfield, and occupied by Shane Owen Lampkin, 34, of 205 Roberts Ave., White Hall, was being sought in connection with the reported theft of scrap metal from the municipality's sewer oxidation ponds, the officer said, adding city employees identified metal, which was seized. Both Solloway and Lampkin were admitted to the Jefferson County W.C. " Dub" Brassell Adult Detention Center on criminal trespass and theft of property charges, Moreau wrote in his report, adding Solloway was also charged with driving on a suspended driver's license and Lampkin was being sought on warrants issued in Jefferson and Grant counties. Sept. 18 Joann Craig of 122 Edwards, White Hall, was quoted by Patrolman Tommy Kelly as saying she lost of the southbound 2005 Ford Crown Victoria she was driving on Robin Road south of West Green Oak Lane, veered off the pavement into a ditch and stuck a utility pole. Sept. 19 — Drew Oehring of 1303 Frye Lane, White Hall, told Patrolman Tommy Kelly that a set of custom made golf clubs and a free-standing carport, each valued at $1,500, a chest freezer and furniture chest were taken from the residence between Sept. 14 and 18. — A 2003 Ford F150 pickup truck and 1996 Honda Accord sustained minor damage when they collided on Dollarway Road at its intersection with Carter Drive, Patrolman Tommy Kelly said. Charlotte Boyd of 601 Grant Road 19005, Pine Bluff, was quoted as telling the officer the northbound car she was driving struck the northbound pickup driven by Jimmy Brickey of 5702 Smart, Pine Bluff, as she changed lanes. — Two cars collided on Dollarway at its intersection with Harrod Road, Patrolman Brent Bridges said, causing estimated $2,500 damage to each vehicle. Mary E. Freeman of 6823 Brown St., Pine Bluff, said she was northbound on Dollarway in a 2012 Toyota Avalon and was slowing to turn into Silver Leaf Plaza when a 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Kristiana C. Mayes of 1008 Hickory St., Pine Bluff, turned off Harrod into the path of the Toyota. Sept. 20 — Angel T. Weiss of 105 Fawn Cove, White Hall, was quoted by Patrolman Stephen Moreau, as saying she backed into a gas pump at Big Jim's convenience store, 8006 Dollarway Road, breaking off the pump handle cradle. — Kevin Gornall of Lytle, Texas, told Moreau a license plate was stolen from the trailer of his tractor-trailer truck while the vehicle was parked overnight at the Big Red Travel Plaza, 8110 Sheridan Road. Sept. 22 — A man and a woman were arrested for public intoxication and the woman was also cited for misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance after they were observed struggling on the shoulder of Sheridan Road, east of Interstate 530, Sgt. Sandy Castleberry wrote in an incident. The officer said Amie Carol Brewer, 37, of 6901 White Oak Cove, Pine Bluff, and Jason Michael Moore, 29, of 2015 Moore Road, White Hall, were booked into the Jefferson County W.C. " Dub" Brassell Adult Detention Center following their arrests. — Osella Reed of 106 W. Little Lane, Apt. A7, told Patrolman Robert Rogers she found several cracks in the windshield of her 2010 Lincoln cause by an unidentified object. Sept. 24 Patrolman Robert Rogers quoted Anna E. Jones of No. 22 Concord, White Hall, as saying the westbound 2010 Dodge Journey SUV she was driving on Colonial Park Drive was damaged when the 2002 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck driven by Leigh A. Weaver of No. 4 Independence backed up. Weaver told the officer she was waiting on the traffic light to change and when it did not change she began to back, striking the stationary SUV.
