Police reports


On June 20 at 7:04 p.m., a two-vehicle accident was reported on the Interstate 530 northbound off ramp at its intersection with Arkansas Highway 256/Hoadley Road.

Allison Woodall of Little Rock said she was traveling north in the interstate and had exited at exit 32, which is Arkansas Highway 256. She said she had yielded to oncoming traffic at the end of the off ramp and was turning right when her vehicle was struck in the rear bumper.

Damage to the 2013 GMC driven by Woodall was estimated at $900.

The driver of the other vehicle, Sherrie Hopson of Little Rock, said she had been traveling north on the interstate and had exited at exit 32. She said she had yielded to oncoming traffic and was behind the other vehicle that was stopped in traffic when her vehicle struck the other vehicle in the rear.

Damage to the 1996 Buick driven by Hopson was estimated at $1,000.

There were no citations issued.

On June 21 at 9 a.m. Officer Brent Bridges was notified that a Pine Bluff Police Officer had George Young, 47, in custody on a warrant from White Hall District Court for failure to appear with a bond of $1,000. Young was taken to the adult detention center and the warrant was deleted from the Arkansas Crime Information Center database.

On June 21, Officer Brian Todd was notified that the Sheridan Police Department had George Stane, 38, in custody and had charges on him. Stane also had an active warrant from White Hall District Court for failure to comply with a bond of $1,395. A hold was placed on Stane for White Hall.

On June 21 at 3:24 p.m., an accident was reported on the parking lot of Nick’s Super Stop at 8003 Sheridan Road.

Christine Smith of Fayetteville said she was pulling into the parking lot and when she applied the brakes, the 2004 Buck she was driving accelerated and was she was unable to stop before striking the windows of the store. No damage estimate was available when the report was filed.

On June 26, Officer Tommy Kelly was advised that a Pine Bluff police officer had Richard Cook, 50, in custody on a warrant from White Hall District Court for failure to appear with a bond of $775. The warrant was faxed to the adult detention center and was deleted from the Arkansas Crime Information Center database.

On June 27 at 12 p.m., a two-vehicle accident was reported on Gamble Road at its intersection with McGehee Road.

Johnnie McCall of White Hall said he was westbound on Gamble Road and saw another vehicle stopped at the stop sign at McGehee Road. He said as he continued westbound, the other vehicle entered the intersection and collided with his vehicle.

Damage to the 2004 Chevrolet driven by McCall was estimated at $1,000.

The driver of the other vehicle, Tina McCann of White Hall, said she was stopped facing north at the stop sign at McGehee and Gamble. She said she yielded to an eastbound vehicle on Gamble road before attempting to turn left at the intersection and collided with the other vehicle. She said she never saw the other vehicle.

Damage to the 1989 Toyota driven by McCann was estimated $1,000.

McCann was issued a citation for failure to yield with an accident.

On June 28, Sgt. Mark Bradley was notified that an Arkansas State Trooper had Shalonda Jackson, 26, in custody on a warrant from White Hall City Court for failure to appear with a bond of $1,200. The warrant was faxed to the adult detention center and deleted from the Arkansas Crime Information Center database.
