WH Noon Lions to meet

The White Hall Noon Lions Club will meet at noon Thursday, Oct. 1, at Larry’s Pizza at White Hall. The guest speaker will be Steven Rice with the White Hall Food Pantry.

WH resident wins district queen pageant

Betty Phillips, Miss White Hall Health and Rehab, won the District 6 Queen Pageant on Sept. 15 at Crossett. She competed against 11 other women from nursing homes within the district. She will also participate in the state competition Nov. 18 at Little Rock. Phillips won the pageant at the White Hall center Aug. 21. ‘White Hall Health and Rehab is overwhelmed with joy and excitement for Mrs. Betty Phillips,’ a spokesman said. (Special to The Commercial)

2 WH Boys State delegates become officers
