WHITE HALL — Vernon Sing, 64, of White Hall, died Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at home. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors.

Arkansas Athletics finishes second

The Arkansas Athletics 12AA baseball team, which is based in White Hall, finished in second place in the ASE Swing into Spring tournament on March 3-4 in Jacksonville. There were 11 teams in the tournament.
