Pitching leads Lions to series win over Tigers

A Helping Foot

Pine Bluff Parks and Recreation and the Arkansas-Pine Bluff soccer program held a youth soccer clinic at the University on Nov. 21. After inclement weather forced all activities to be moved inside the ROTC Building, children from the community were given an opportunity to take part in various soccer drills, were instructed on how to play the game of soccer and were allowed to play a game of soccer with the Lions. The event was free to the public. Pine Bluff Parks and Recreation will open registration in its Youth Soccer League in January, with the season set to begin in the spring. All boys and girls between the ages of 5-14 that are interested can apply by contacting Parks and Recreation at 870-536-0920.
