BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The Devil’s Den houses the football coaches’ offices at Mississippi Valley State and is just adjacent to the expanding Rice-Totten Stadium. But new head coach Rick Comegy has spent very little time wondering when construction of the new press box or any other addition to the stadium will be completed.

Second half rally falls short for UAPB women

HOUSTON — After trailing by as much as 21 points in the first half, the Arkansas-Pine Bluff women’s basketball nearly came away with a victory Tuesday but the Lady Lions fell just short of a miracle as they lost 83-81 to Grambling State in overtime in the first round of the Southwestern Athletic Conference tournament.

Valley drops UAPB in OT
