ARKADELPHIA — The Arkansas-Monticello softball split a pair of games on the final day of the Ronnie Hawkins Invitational on Sunday, beating Missouri Western 9-6 and losing to Northeastern State 8-1.

Goforth wins GAC player of week honor

RUSSELLVILLE — Arkansas-Monticello senior Jordan Goforth averaged 30 points per game in a pair of road victories to earn her second Great American Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week award for the 2015-16 season and fourth weekly honor of her career.
