Blossoms split on final day of tourney

DENTON, Texas — The Arkansas-Monticello volleyball team repeated its opening day performance by splitting a pair of matches on Saturday in the final day of the Texas Woman’s Hilton Garden Inn Classic. The Blossoms started the day with a three-set loss to Cameron before bouncing back in the afternoon with a five-set win over Texas A&M-International.

Tolin adds dad to UAM staff

MONTICELLO — After retiring with more than 400 wins as a collegiate head coach, hall of fame basketball coach Doug Tolin will join his son Kyle Tolin’s staff at Arkansas-Monticello starting with the upcoming 2015-16 season.

UAM Boll Weevils preview

Arkansas-Monticello head coach Hud Jackson is confident that the Boll Weevils will be able to turn things around this season. Last season UAM didn’t live up to its expectations and finished the season with a 2-8 record. After a great spring, the Weevils have continued their preparation on into the summer.
