WEIMAR, Texas — Two pitchers combined to allow just one hit, but the White Hall 14-year-old All-Stars also issued 10 walks and the defense committed six errors as New Iberia (Louisiana) defeated White Hall 7-3 on Friday in the first round of the Babe Ruth Southwest Regional.

BELLA VISTA — Arkansas coach Bret Bielema isn’t shy about sharing his feelings.
While many baseball and softball teams go through district and state tournaments, the Pine Bluff American-Eastern Big League Softball team already has a regional spot in tow.
The White Hall Babe Ruth 14-and-under baseball team has played just four games together this season.
Kenn Dickson gave his players on the 15-year-old Seabrook Babe Ruth team a few days to enjoy winning the South Arkansas state tournament last week at Taylor Field.
