Magnolia girls dominate White Hall

WHITE HALL — This has been a very difficult season for the White Hall Bulldogs, and things wouldn’t get much easier on Friday evening at they played host to the Magnolia Panthers. Magnolia is currently sitting in the second place spot in the 5A-South Conference standings, and their only two league losses have come to the first and third placed teams.

Seniors return for WH in loss to Magnolia

WHITE HALL — After being suspended prior to the beginning of 5A-South Conference play, the White Hall Bulldogs head coach Marc Stringer has reinstated four of his players. Two of the four players, Mete Davis and Will Ridgell, appeared in a 61-54 loss to Hot Springs Lakeside on Tuesday night, but the other two sat out the entire game.

Cardinals win third straight

WARREN — After suffering a surprising loss to the DeWitt Dragons last Tuesday, the Dollarway Cardinals bounced back to gain two victories later that week. The Cardinals were seeking to continue their winning streak as they traveled to take on the Warren Lumberjacks on Tuesday night.

Dollarway boys cruise by Warren

WARREN — The Dollarway Cardinals are having a nice season up to this point, and they were only one game behind the Monticello Billies in the 8-4A Conference standings heading into Tuesday‘s game. The Cardinals’ only conference loss of the season came at the hands of the Billies, and Dollarway head coach Ellis Berry has his team playing winning basketball.

Lights-out shooting sends Zebras to title game

The 2014-2015 6A state champion Pine Bluff boys basketball team entered the 2015 Zebra Invitational as the favorites of a five-team pool. Before advancing to the championship round they first had to overcome a matchup with the Little Rock Central Tigers on Tuesday inside McFadden Gymnasium.
