The White Hall 14 and under all-star team won the South Arkansas state tournament on July 12 after defeating Union County 5-3 in eight innings in the championship game. Pine Bluff Seabrook scored nine runs in the top of the third inning and Jakobi Jackson struck out 10 batters in six innings as they defeated White Hall 10-5 in the Babe Ruth 15-year-old state championship Wednesday night at Taylor Field.

Seabrook nearly cost itself a championship opportunity Monday night — giving up the tying run in the bottom of the seventh inning — but rebounded in the top of the eighth with two runs to defeat Pine Bluff Northern 4-2 in extra innings in the Babe Ruth 15-year-old state tournament at Taylor Field.
It took five innings and a 1-0 deficit, but the Pine Bluff Northern’s bats finally woke from their slumber as the team scored 15 runs on nine hits over the final two innings to defeat Arkansas Pulpwood of Camden 15-1 in the 15-year-old Babe Ruth state tournament at Taylor Field on Saturday.
Soon-to-be ninth grader Layne Hartsfield tallied three RBIs and went four innings on the mound as White Hall defeated Hamburg 10-2 in the first round of the Babe Ruth 15-year-old state tournament at Taylor Field on Friday.
