FORDYCE — The McGehee Owls are used to the feeling of winning a regional championship by now. But this one brought out plenty of emotion in the perennial state title contenders.

WHITE HALL — The Watson Chapel Lady Wildcats ended their regular season with a statement over their rival White Hall Lady Bulldogs on Saturday night with an emphatic 59-30 inside Bert Honey Gymnasium.
MONTICELLO — For the third time in as many years, Monticello will get a shot at the 4A South Region boys championship.
WHITE HALL — Although both teams had already locked up a spot in the 5A state tournament, it was still a rivalry game.
The jigsaw puzzle that is the seeding for the upcoming 6A state girls basketball playoffs still has a missing piece, but Pine Bluff has provided a much clearer picture with a second big victory in three days.
