JONESBORO — A hot start by Mountain Home — thanks to four three-pointers in the first quarter — was quickly put on ice as Pine Bluff rallied and defeated the Bombers 65-48 in the first round of the 6A state tournament Friday night at Jonesboro High School.

Marcus Thomas led Pine Bluff with 25 points while Roosevelt Murray had 15 points. Junior Will Gragg chipped in with nine points.
Pine Bluff will play the winner of today’s game between Sheridan/Little Rock Hall at 8:30 p.m. on Monday.
