FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas center Travis Swanson earned another postseason honor Tuesday, when Southeastern Conference coaches named him a second-team all-conference performer.
It was the second consecutive day Swanson was named to an All-SEC team. The Associated Press recognized the senior as its first-team center Monday. Auburn’s Reese Dismukes was named the first-team center by the coaches Tuesday.
Swanson — who joins Dismukes among the six finalists for the 2013 Rimington Trophy — was one of three Razorbacks selected to the coaches’ All-SEC team on Tuesday. Defensive ends Chris Smith (11 ½ tackles for losses, 8 ½ sacks) and Trey Flowers (13 ½ tackles for losses, 5 sacks) also were named second-team All-SEC after neither was selected to the AP’s All-SEC team Monday.
The SEC’s individual awards will be announced Wednesday, while the conference’s All-Freshmen team will be unveiled today.
