FAYETTEVILLE — Fort Smith Northside defensive end Daytrieon Dean signed a financial aid agreement with the Razorbacks on Tuesday.
He is the third member of the 2015 recruiting class to sign a financial aid agreement with Arkansas, joining Charleston quarterback Ty Storey and Hebron (Texas) High offensive lineman Zach Rogers. All three plan to enroll at Arkansas in January.
“Daytrieon’s hard work and dedication is what we look for in future Razorbacks,” Bielema said in a news release. “We’re excited to welcome him to the Razorback family and have him join us next spring to maximize his potential.
“Daytrieon joins Ty Storey and Zach Rogers as the start of a very special 2015 signing class. He continues to display the core values of what our program is built upon academically, athletically and socially.”
Dean recorded 50 tackles and six sacks as a junior. Rivals.com rates Dean as a three-star prospect and the 24th-best defensive lineman in the country. He chose Arkansas over Ole Miss and Oklahoma State, according to the Razorbacks.
