Harris, Qualls suspended indefinitely

FAYETTEVILLE — Junior Alandise Harris and sophomore Michael Qualls are suspended indefinitely from the Arkansas men’s basketball team.

Neither traveled with the team to Baton Rouge, La., for Saturday’s game against LSU. The University of Arkansas did not specify the violation(s) that led to the suspensions.

“All of our student-athletes are held to a high standard and everyone is accountable for their actions,” coach Mike Anderson said in a statement. “We are trying to build the ultimate team and everyone has to be on board to make that happen. Our expectations of our student-athletes is that they reflect positively on themselves and our program at all times and that they enter each day as a Razorback with a positive attitude that helps us continue to grow this program.”

Qualls, who has made 10 starts, is averaging 11.7 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. Harris, a transfer from Houston, averages 9.1 points and 3.6 boards per game. Harris has made four starts.
