“Enjoying the outdoors is a way of life for thousands of Arkansas families. It’s also a foundation of our economy, with sportsmen contributing over $1.8 billion to Arkansas’s economy each year,” Pryor said. “That’s why I’m fighting to preserve and promote these traditions on a federal level. I hope Arkansans will join me for a discussion about how I can better support Arkansas sportsmen.”
AGFC Director Mike Knoedl said providing an opportunity to enjoy Arkansas’s natural resources is one of the agency’s main focuses. “Arkansas’s hunting, fishing and wildlife viewing opportunities exist because of the dedicated outdoor enthusiasts of this state. We’re very fortunate to live in an area so rich in wildlife resources,” Knoedl explained.
