On July 26 at 1:25 p.m., an accident was reported on the parking lot of the Lighthouse Restaurant at 8500 Dollarway Road.
Bobby Langrell of Redfield said he was backing out of a parking space when he backed into a 2007 Buick LaCrosse that had stopped behind him.
The driver of the Buick, Frank Henslee of Pine Bluff said he was stopped in the parking lot waiting for other cars to move when the 2004 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Langrell backed into him.
Damage to the Buick was listed as on the front passenger side bumper and damage to the Chevrolet was listed as being the rear bumper pushed in on the passenger side.
On July 26 at 5:15 p.m., a two-vehicle traffic accident was reported on Interstate 530 on the northbound off-ramp of exit 34.
Billy Reed of Rison said he was stopped in the traffic lane due to the traffic light when the 2010 Dodge he was driving was struck in the rear by a 1998 Dodge pickup driven by Nadine Wolfe of Grady.
Wolfe said she noticed that the vehicle in front of her had stopped and she hit her brakes and when she did, her vehicle started sliding and hit the rear of the other vehicle.
Damage to the vehicle driven by Reed was estimated at $500. Damage to the vehicle driven by Wolfe was estimated at $1,000.
Wolfe was issued a citation for following too close.
On July 27 at 2 a.m., a one vehicle traffic accident was reported on Overland Trail at its intersection with Homestead Drive.
Officer Dustin Summers reported that he was sent to 231 Overland Trail in reference to an accident and he noticed a brick mailbox that appeared to have been run over. Tire marks on the roadway led to 206 Huckelberry Drive where Summers reported seeing a black SUV with damage to the front.
The owner of the vehicle, James Burks, initially told police a female had driven him home, then later admitted he had been driving the vehicle.
Burks was issued a citation for failure to maintain control.
On July 29 at 1 p.m., White Hall Police took custody of Jimmy Douglas who had been arrested by Pine Bluff Police on a failure to appear warrant from White Hall.
On July 30 at 9:20 a.m., White Hall Police arrested Karl Alan Green on a failure to comply warrant from White Hall City Court. Green was taken to the adult detention center where he was also served warrants from Pine Bluff.
On July 31 at 9:35 a.m., Pulaski County Detention Center personnel served a warrant from White Hall City Court on Jonathan Dale Spradlin, who was an inmate in Pulaski County. A hold was placed on Spradlin for White Hall.1
On July 31 at 2:30 p.m., a two-vehicle accident was reported on U.S. 270/Sheridan Road at its intersection with I-530.
Jonathan N. Webb of Tucker said he was stopped at the eastbound red light on .U.S. 2070/Sheridan Road when the 2006 Chevrolet Silverado he was driving was struck in the rear by a 2005 Honda Odyssey driven by Gwendolyn D. Henry of White Hall.
Henry told police she was not paying attention and did not notice that the other vehicle had stopped in front of her. She said when she did notice, it was too late for her to stop.
Damage to the vehicle driven by Webb was estimated at $4,000 and damage to the vehicle driven by Henry was estimated at $8,000.
Henry was issued a citation for careless/prohibited driving and Webb was issued a citation for no proof of liability insurance.
On Aug. 2 at 5:26 p.m., White Hall Fire Department responded to a reported fire at a shed in the back yard of 603 Turner Ave.
The report said the shed was a total loss. Damage was estimated at $1,000.
Kristoffer Hughes was issued a citation for unlawful burning.
On Aug. 2 at 8:45 p.m., Officer Chris Drye assisted Sgt. Sandy Castleberry with a traffic stop on Arkansas 256 near its intersection with Bulldog Drive.
The driver of the vehicle, Jimmy Don Best, 57, of Pine Bluff, reportedly had two syringes inside the vehicle and was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
