Sept. 6

Nicholas Trail of 1327 Court told Patrolman Brent Bridges his 2011 Chevrolet Camaro sustained a small scratch on the passenger side door while parked at the Shell Food Mart, 8003 Sheridan Road.

Melissa Lampkin of 712 Gandy acknowledged her three-year-old daughter opened the left rear door of their 2001 Honda Accord and struck Trail’s vehicle, causing the scratch.

A 2000 Mazda Millenia was damaged when a tire came off a passing trailer and struck the side of the car, Patrolman Tommy Kelly said. The incident occurred on Dollarway Road, 500 feet south of Gamble Road.

Dawn A. Swartz of 3000 Waldridge Cove, Pine Bluff, told the officer she was northbound on Dollarway when the left front tire came off the southbound trailer being pulled by a vehicle driven by Robert L. Gregory of 466 Fourth St., St. Paul.

Sept. 12

■ Two cars sustained minor damage on the parking lot of the Jefferson Regional Medical Center Health Complex, 1600 W. Holland, when one backed into a parked vehicle, Patrolman Mike Monk wrote in a report.

Meredith M. Poteet of 9301 Lee Springs Road, Pine Bluff, told the officer she was inside the complex when her parked 2007 Dodge Charger was hit. Andrea E. Leopard of 2308 Dianne Drive, Pine Bluff, said she was backing out of a parking space in her 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier and did not see the Charger.

■ A 2008 GMC Yukon SUV and a 1997 Mercedes sustained $4,000 in damage when they collided on White Hall Road at its intersection with East Street, said Patrolman Robert Rogers.

Angie R. Henderson of 111 Eastheart Drive, driver of the SUV, told the officer she was stopped in the eastbound lane because of traffic when Gurjeet Kaur of 805 Nancy St., attempted to turn the Mercedes east onto White Hall from East Street and hit the Yukon.

Sept. 13

Theresa S. Brown of 4423 Maddox Road, Jacksonville, told Assistant Police Chief Paul Brown her 2006 Toyota Corolla was involved in a hit-and-run accident in White Hall on Aug. 31. She was quoted as telling the officer she had taken the northbound Interstate 530 off-ramp at Exit 34 and was attempting to turn east on Sheridan Road when her car was hit from the rear by an older model red Chevrolet pickup truck during a heavy rain.

Both drivers stopped on the parking lot of the Big Red Travel Plaza, 8110 Sheridan Road, to assess the damage, she said, adding that as she walked to the door of the truck stop to call police, the young white male driving the pickup left the scene eastbound on Sheridan Road.
