•A traffic stop lead to the discovery of two sets of brass knuckles and the arrest of the driver. Eduardo Gutierrez told Officer Dustin Summers that he knew there was a warrant out for his arrest. Summers also ran a check on the passenger, Hector Gutierrez, who also had a warrant. The weapons were found during a search of the vehicle. Both individuals were taken into custody on their Jefferson County warrants. Eduardo was also booked for speeding, driving on a suspended license, no seat belt and carrying a weapon.
•The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department arrested Jonathan Spradlin, 28, of Jefferson, on an outstanding warrant held by the WHPD.
•Kwenton M. Johnson was arrested by Officer Brian Hornsby on a Failure to comply warrant held by the WHPD. Johnson was taken to the “Dub” Brassell Adult Detention Center for booking.
•A deer was struck and killed on S.H. 365 near and Harrod Road intersection when it ran out in front of a vehicle driven by Billy Grissom.
•Officer Robert Rogers conducted a traffic stop on Hwy. 270 near Gandy Ave. when he noticed a vehicle crossing the center lane several times. According to Rogers, there was a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The driver, Ariel Crompton, admitted that there might be some marijuana in the cup holder of her car. Marijuana was found in the vehicle and Crompton was arrested for possession of controlled substance and driving left of center. She was taken to the “Dub” Brassell Adult Detention Center for booking.
•A one-vehicle minor accident occurred on Robin Road when Donna Malone veered too far onto the shoulder and struck a stop sign. No injuries were reported.
•Theresa A. Brown, 42, of DeValls Bluff, was arrested by the Prairie County Sheriff’s Department on an outstanding warrant held by the WHPD. Officer Chris Drye traveled to DeValls Bluff and transported Brown back to the “Dub” Brassell Adult Detention Center.
•The WHPD was notified that Deanthus L. Wilkins, 37, of North Little Rock, was arrested by an Arkansas State Trooper. Wilkins faces charges in Pulaski County and had an outstanding warrant out of the WHPD.
•A two-vehicle accident occurred when Kimberly Reed pulled out of Wesley Road onto Dollarwary Road heading north and struck Tevin Robinson’s car with the side of her car. No injuries were reported.
•Sherra Veorster reported to Officer Celena Harbison that someone had hit her vehicle in the parking lot of Hunter’s Refuge. Veorster told the officer that she was inside shopping and when she went back to the parking lot, she noticed damage to the rear passenger’s side of her car.
•Kasey Speer, 23, of Pine Bluff, was arrested on a failure to appear warrant out of the WHPD. Speer was taken into custody by Officer Chris Drye and taken to the “Dub” Brassell Adult Detention Center for booking.
•Officer Brent Bridges met with Arkansas State Police in Redfield to take custody of Christopher R. Greenwood, 38,, of Hampton. Greenwood had an outstanding warrant held by the WHPD. He was taken to the Jefferson County Jail and booked.
