An SUV and a car collided at the Interstate 530 and Sheridan Road interchange, Patrolman Brent Bridges said.
The officer said a 2004 Toyota Camry driven by Mitchell S. Hoffman of 814 River Road, Redfield, struck the rear of a 2010 Chevrolet Suburban driven by Nancy S. Oudin of 7520 Dollarway Road, White Hall.
■ Roy Scott Brewer of 10125 Dollarway Road told Patrolman Brian Todd a blue and white 6 horsepower Johnson outboard motor stored in a shed on his property had been stolen and a black and white 6 horsepower Johnson motor left in its place.
Brewer was quoted as saying he did not know when the motors were swapped and why.
■ Ricky Myers, 35, of 10005 Grant Road 7, Sheridan, was arrested at the Huddle House, 7735 Sheridan Road, and charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication, according to a report filed by Patrolman Robert Rogers.
The officer said the disorderly conduct charge stemmed from obscene comments made by Myers in front of customers and the restaurant staff. Myers was jailed at the Jefferson County W.C. “Dub” Brassell Adult Detention Center following his arrest.
■ The drivers of a pickup truck and car that collided in curve at the intersection of Robin and White Hall roads escaped injury, Patrolman Celena Harbison.
The officer quoted Stacey Qualls of No. 16 Concord, White Hall, as saying she was westbound on White Hall and negotiating the curve in a 2005 Ford pickup when a northbound 1996 Nissan Sentra driven by Shelia E. Sanchez of 3601 Scenic Drive, Pine Bluff, crossed the center line and collided with the truck.
Sanchez was quoted as saying her car would not turn as she attempted to negotiate the curve.
■ Two cars collided on Sheridan Road just east of its intersection with Robin Road, Patrolman Brian R. Hornsby wrote in an accident report.
The officer quoted Debra D. Kidwell of 602 Godrey Ave, as saying she was westbound in her 2004 Hyundai Sonata and slowing for traffic stopped at the traffic signal when her car was struck from the rear by a 2006 Nissan Sentra driven by Amber N. Thayer of 5907 Carbon Ave., Pine Bluff.
Thayer told the officer she attempted to brake, but her westbound car began sliding on the wet pavement and she was unable to avoid the collision.
■ A deer ran into the right side of a northbound 1999 Buick Century in the 9200 block of Dollarway Road, Patrolman Tommy Kelly wrote in a report.
Deana King of 9204 Dollarway, No. B-1, driver of the car, told the officer she was preparing to make a left turn when the animal ran into the car. “The deer was stunned by the impact and ran from the scene as I was arriving,” Kelly wrote in the report.
A 2010 GMC Sierra pickup truck driven by Robert M. Castleberry of 1302 Boastwood, White Hall, backed into a parked 2004 Toyota 4Runner SUV occupied by Kirsty Lawrence of 1113 W. Holland Ave., Sgt. Greg Moody wrote in a report.
The collision occurred on the parking lot of Dancer’s Barber and Style, 7205 Sheridan Road.
Christopher Milligan of 109 E. Holland Ave. lost control of his southbound 1989 GMC pickup truck in the 1400 block of Claud Road and the vehicle left the roadway and struck several trees, Sgt. Sandy Castleberry wrote in an accident report.
Two passengers in the truck, Emilee Anna Sneed, 13, of 1605 Discovery, White Hall, and Katland Alexis Trammell, 14, of 2600 Victory Lane, White Hall, were taken by private vehicle to Jefferson Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash, the report stated.

The officer quoted Judy G. McConnell of 700 Park Terrace, White Hall, driver of a westbound 2007 Ford Edge, as saying a 2008 Chevrolet Aveo driven by Amanda M. James of 493 Adler Lane, Star City, crossed the center line and struck the SUV.
Damage to the two vehicles was estimated at $4,000.
Biktok James, 23, of 1605 N. Bryant St., Pine Bluff, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and criminal mischief by Patrolman Robert Rogers after allegedly throwing trash cans into the parking lot and damaging newspaper racks at Big Jim’s convenience store, 8006 Dollarway Road.
James was jailed at the W.C. “Dub” Brassell Adult Detention Center on the two charges.
Two 18-year-old White Hall residents, Haley Hopson of 1502 McGehee St., and Kelsey Upshaw of 1000 W. Hoadley Road, No. 7B, were arrested following a traffic stop by Patrolman Robert Rogers and charged with possession of marijuana and an instrument of crime.
The officer said he found a quantity of marijuana and a knife in the 2005 Nissan Altima driven by Hopson.
Both were jailed at the W.C. “Dub” Brassell Adult Detention Center on the two charges. Hopson was also charged with operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license.
Firemen were called out at 4:30 p.m. in response to an automatic alarm at the Marcella Saoud residence, 1308 Frontier Lane, White Hall.
The homeowner was cooking and smoke triggered the alarm. There no fire or damage.
