April 5

Dorothy Lambert of 2219 Meadow Pond Trail, Pine Bluff, told Patrolman Tommy Kelly her 2008 Ford Explorer was damaged while parked at White Hall High School. She said the damage could have come from a 1998 Ford van parked next to her. Kelly said he examined the van April 9 and found no evidence of paint transfer, adding the van’s owner denied striking any vehicle with the van’s door.

April 6

Tanya Hill of 432 Arkansas 277 North, Monticello, told Patrolman Tommy Kelly her eastbound GMC Terrain SUV was struck from the rear when she was stopped on Anderson Avenue at Dollarway Road.1

Savanah Harrison of 11936 Dollarway Road, White Hall, was quoted as saying she was behind the SUV when her foot slipped off the brake of her 1993 Cadillac Deville and the car struck the Hill vehicle.

April 8

Patrolman Stephen Moreau quoted Shane Nicholson of 1208-A Oakhill Drive, White Hall, as saying he was texting while backing his 2008 Chrysler Aspen out of his driveway and did not notice the vehicle was leaving the roadway until he was in a roadside ditch. The Aspen, which sustained an estimated $2,000 in damage, struck a mailbox at 1205-B Oakhill and two natural gas meters for 1205-A and 1205-B Oakhill, Moreau wrote in the accident report.

April 9

■ A 2004 Toyota Tundra pickup truck driven by Tanner Shelby Atwood of 1318 McGehee, White Hall, struck a parked 2005 Chrysler Sebring that had been parked earlier on the student parking lot at White Hall High School by Coral Breann Davis of 601 Dogwood, Redfield, Patrolman Mike Monk wrote in an accident report. Atwood was quoted as saying he was attempting to park when he struck the car.

■ Aaron Brock Stover, 35, of 610 Turner Ave., White Hall, was arrested for misdemeanor possession of a marijuana and carrying a weapon after the vehicle in which he was riding was stopped on Dollarway Road, Sgt. Sandy Castleberry wrote in his arrest report.

The officer said he seized six marijuana cigarettes while searching Stover after learning he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest at Pine Bluff. A .380-pistol and two magazines were also seized.

Stover was jailed at the W.C. “Dub” Brassell Adult Detention Center in Pine Bluff.

April 11

Two SUVs collided on White Hall Road just west of Dollarway Road, Patrolman Robert Rogers wrote in an accident report. The officer said an eastbound 1998 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Michael M. Hart of 5709 Dollarway was stopped on White Hall when it was struck from the rear by a 2006 Ford Explorer driven by Patricia J. Lambert of 105 Little Lane, White Hall.

Firemen were dispatched to the 1200 block of Oakhill Drive after a vehicle driven by Shane Nicholson of 1208-A Oakhill struck two natural gas meters. Utility personnel turned off the gas from the leaking meters. There was no fire.
