Two late model cars collided on Sheridan Road just west of the Interstate 530 northbound ramp, Patrolman Stephen Moreau said.
Nicole Bach of 1725 Azalea Hills Drive, White Hall, told the office she was westbound in a 2013 Kia Rio LX and had slowed for traffic in front of her when a westbound 2011 Honda Accord driven by Tracy L. Cobb of 1505-A Oak Hill Drive, White Hall, struck the rear of the Kia.
While the drivers at the scene told police they did not require medical attention, Moreau said he was later responded to the emergency room at Jefferson Regional Medical Center when Bach sought treatment for multiple injuries.

White Hall firemen were dispatched to a grass fire on the east shoulder of the northbound lanes of Interstate 530, south of the Sheridan Road interchange, at 8:50 p.m.
State Police Cpl. Brad Spurlin extinguished the fire before firemen arrived, explaining that the fire resulted from a motorist spilling gas on the roadside grass while pouring gas from a can into a car.
