The White Hall Mad Dogs will be selling barbeque dinners for $7 each on Tuesday. Dinners will include a pulled pork sandwich, cole slaw and baked beans. Also, whole pork butts will be available for $35. Interested individuals can either contact a Mad Dog Player or come by Centennial Church in White Hall from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
Students from seven area schools competed in the 34th annual Arkansas Council of Teachers of Mathematics regional contest hosted by the University of Arkansas at Monticello’s School of Mathematical and Natural Sciences March 3. Students from Drew Central, Dumas, McGehee, Monticello Middle School, Monticello High School, Star City, Warren, and White Hall participated in the event, which featured competition in six categories. Winners are eligible to participate in the state ACTM contest at the University of Central Arkansas April 28.
