water park named

Recently the White Hall City Hall Facebook page announced the name of the water park being constructed on the corner of U.S. 365 and 256.

Construction can be seen going vertical with white PVC water pipes sticking out of the ground where workers are installing water lines, as well as, dirt work for parking.

Crenshaw Springs Water Park is now the official name of the park. White Hall was built around the small spring that wells up from the center of town. The spring has a pavilion built over it and can be seen on Dollarway Road between Church Drive and Anderson Avenue.

Giving homage to the little spring named Crenshaw is a way to tie the past to the present. The water park will usher in a new time for White Hall having what the mayor has said will be a showcase for the city. The construction of the water park will be finished first and then the community center, with its name being announced at a later date, according to city hall.
