Varied events planned at library over Christmas holidays


The White Hall Library has children’s activities planned over the Christmas break. School may be out, but the library is open!

Friday, Dec. 28, is a Pete the Cat scavenger hunt. Complete the challenge at your own pace any time between 9 and 3 p.m. (recommended for ages 3 and up).

Saturday, Dec. 29, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. is Game Day with the Wii and board games (recommended for ages 5 and up).

Wednesday, Jan. 2, from 1 to 2 p.m. is interactive movie day. We’ll supply the popcorn and noisemakers. (recommended for all children).

Thursday, Jan. 3, from 1 to 2 p.m. is Gingerbread House Decorating (recommended for ages 3 and up, limit 25 children. Tickets available at 12:30 p.m.

Friday, Jan. 4, from 1 to 2 p.m. Origami Yoda program based on the book series by Tom Angleberger (recommended for ages 8 and up).

Saturday, Jan. 5, New Year craft from 1 to 2 p.m. (recommended for ages 3 and up).
