The city of White Hall will kick off its annual month long Founders Day celebration by hosting Trade Days this Saturday.
During Trade Days, residents throughout White Hall hold yard sales and are not required to pay the yard sale permit fee.
Last year, there were more than 60 homes that participated in this event that has become the tradition for the city. This year looks as though it will provide just as many places to shop. Bargains can be found on almost every street in the city.
The White Hall Chamber of Commerce provides a list of Trade Days participants with addresses so that shoppers can make sure not to miss out on any sales.
Trade Days is only the beginning of Founders Day events.
Saturday, Aug. 10 the Miss White Hall Pageant will be held in the WHHS gym.
On Aug. 17, there will be a golf tournament held at the Pine Bluff Arsenal Golf Course.
Finally, the celebration will culminate on Aug. 24 with a pancake breakfast at 7 a.m. at White Hall City Hall. The parade will follow on Dollarway Rd. at 10 a.m. Floats will begin the route at Chipmunk and make their way to the city park. The park will be filled with activities for all ages including vender booths, a talent show and tons of other entertainment.
