There were several items on the agenda for Tuesday night’s White Hall School Board meeting. The board was scheduled to meet at Redfield Middle School for its regular monthly session.
Several requests were made for the use of school facilities from outside agencies. Those requests were expected to be reviewed and voted upon.
The board was scheduled to recognize the achievements of several students and school organizations including the White Hall Freshman Academy track teams, the seventh=grade Duke Talent Search students, the state FBLA award winners, the White Hall High School Debate Team, and the Economics Arkansas Stock Market winners.
A legislative audit review was conducted on the district’s athletic expenditures.
There were also several items brought forth for approval. These included a proposed raise for certified and classified employees, a quote to repair or replace roofing at WHHS, a bid to replace carpeting at the elementary campuses and the high school, a bid to install an electronic message center at White Hall Middle School, and approval of the required school choice resolution.
District reports were scheduled to be read before guests were allowed to address the board.
The board also was expected to go into executive session to discuss personnel matters.
