Roy Agee files for JP Dist. #8


Roy Agee of Pine Bluff has filed for the Jefferson County Quorum Court District 8 seat as a Republican.

A native of Jefferson County, Agee has served on the White Hall School Board since 2008. In announcing his candidacy, Agee said, “I look forward to actively serving the residents of JP District 8 and being responsive to their concerns.”

Agee has been employed as an administrator with the Arkansas Department of Corrections for over 21 years. His impressive credentials include being selected as Arkansas State Employee of the Year for 2006. He is a board member on the Southern States Corrections Association; and received the Arkansas Criminal Justice Association Outstanding Member of the Year Award. Community volunteer service includes serving as Vice President of the White Hall Booster Club. He previously served for 15 years as vice president of the White Hall Elementary Basketball League, and for two years as White Hall Junior Babe Ruth League President. Agee was White Hall Community Volunteer of the Year for 2003.
