LITTLE ROCK – Arkansas’s original state capitol, the Old State House, is a wonderful place to celebrate the holidays. Visitors will find the Greek-revival style building colorfully decorated for the season, setting the stage for the holiday programs offered at the museum.
This year, the Old State House Museum will host three holiday performances by Arkansas Chamber Singers on December 7 through 9. Hear treasured songs of the season! The group’s Singing for Joy holiday concerts will include classical arrangements of The Holly and the Ivy (Ron Jeffers), In Bethlehem a Wonder (Hermann Schroeder), Deck the Halls (James McKelvy), and O lux beatissima (Howard Helvey), among others.
Arkansas Chamber Singers is dedicated to presenting the art of choral singing to audiences throughout the state.
