Museum to host open house

The White Hall Museum, 9009 Dollarway Road, will host a Christmas open house at 2 Sunday afternoon, said Mary Lou Mauldin, museum director.

Plans call for a visit by Santa Claus, live Christmas music by Dr. Ron Wise, English wassail (hot mulled cider) and sugar cookies served by “Town Crier” Scotty Ray, elves, Victorian servers, carol singing and tours of the museum.

A special animated Christmas display will include a replica of a Union Pacific electric train complete with scenery, said Mauldin.
