PINE BLUFF — Twenty-six University of Arkansas at Pine (UAPB) School of Agriculture, Fisheries and Human Sciences (SAFHS) students made the Dean’s List for the 2013 spring semester that ended in May, according to Dr. James O. Garner Jr., dean/director.
To be eligible for the Dean’s List, students must be in good standing at UAPB, have earned at least a 3.5 grade point average (GPA) out of a possible 4.0 and completed a minimum of 15 credit hours with no incomplete courses.
Ten of the12 students who earned a 4.0 GPA (all A’s) are from Arkansas. They are agriculture majors Matthew Dismuke, Camden; Alexis Hardiman, Morrilton; Beloit Jones, El Dorado; Daniel Perry, Lexa; and Liatonnia Richard, Dermott.
Human sciences majors earning a 4.0 are Mollie Sanford, White Hall; Kimiara Johnson, Stuttgart; Leigh Lovelace, West Helena; Romana Mathews, Fordyce; and English Peterson, Little Rock. Two students from Memphis also earned 4.0 GPAs points. They are agriculture major Cristal Amaro and human sciences major Zandrisha Salter.
Seven students from Pine Bluff earned a GPA of 3.5 to 3.9. They are agriculture majors Kiara Ford, Adrienne Morgan, Jeremy Scott, Brittany Williams; and human sciences majors Leshala Collins, Tangila Smith and Sherita Thomas.
Other Arkansans earning a 3.5 to 3.9 GPA are Dexter Howard, an agriculture major from Searcy; and human sciences majors Latecia Barnes, Altheimer; Lasonya Guy, Little Rock; Rae-Shem Hawkins, Sherrill; Jazzmine Shavers, North Little Rock; and Kiphanie Williams, Altheimer. Also earning a 3.5 to 3.9 is Bremeshia Gipson, from Memphis, human sciences major.
