Moody Elementary students went on a field trip to UAPB’s Aquaculture Research Station as a culminating activity of the Hooked on Fishing, Not on Drugs Program. Students learned how to determine the age of fish, how to estimate the number of fish in a body of water, and about research that takes place in the aquaculture center. The HOFNOD program in sponsored by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, Jefferson County Conservation District and the Jefferson County Quorum Court.
