COMPASS test prep offered

The Division of Continuing Education and Graduate Studies at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB) is offering a preparation class for the reading portion of the COMPASS test. Open to all incoming students, the free classes will be offered May 29-June 29 in room 153 of the Kountz-Kyle building on the following days and times: Tuesdays from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. and Thursdays 11 a.m. until 12 noon.

The COMPASS® computer-adaptive college placement test helps educators quickly evaluate incoming students’ skill levels in Reading, Writing Skills, Writing Essay, Math, and English as a Second Language; place students in appropriate courses and connect them to the resources they need to achieve academic success.
