In 2012-13, Big-12 member Oklahoma State went 24-9 (13-5 in conference play), but was upset by 12th-seeded Oregon 68-55 in its NCAA tournament opener.

UAPB finished this past season with a 16-14 record, including a 15-3 mark in Southwestern Athletic Conference games.
