ADA, Okla. — Arkansas-Monticello junior Kori Forge hit all eight of his three-point attempts and led the team with a career-high 32 points Saturday in a 86-72 victory over East Central.
Forge was 8 of 10 from the floor, helping the Boll Weevils (17-8, 7-6 Great American Conference) shoot 47 percent (26 of 55) and 73 percent (14 of 19) from three-point range. UAM also converted 20 of 24 free throws for 83 percent.
UAM led by as many as 18 points, and that came after one of Forge’s treys. UAM led 39-32 at halftime.
Also for the Weevils, L.A. Farmer scored 23 points and Sergio Crowe also had 17. A.J. Calhoun contributed 10 rebounds.
The Tigers (5-19, 2-12) weren’t far off shooting from the field, going 26 for 57 for 45 percent, and made 12 of 14 free throws. They were 8 for 22 from the arc.
Bobby McAdoo led East Central with 20 points.
UAM will host Southern Arkansas at 7:30 p.m. Monday.

Strong first-half shooting by the Cotton Blossoms (9-14, 5-8 GAC) helped them win their third in the last four outings.
UAM hit 50 percent from the floor in the first 20 minutes while going up 36-19, but finished 20 for 49 for 40 percent. The Blossoms did knock down 5 of 12 threes.
Taylor Clark ignited an 11-0 Blossoms run in the frame with a three-point basket to break a 5-all tie. She led all scorers with 15 points. Candace Virgadamo followed with 12 points and Channon Haywood added 10 points and 10 rebounds.
The Blossoms will host Southern Arkansas at 5:30 p.m. Monday.
