J. Grant Atwood, 10, of Star City bagged this turkey with his father, Jeff Atwood, during the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission’s annual Youth Turkey Hunt on April 7. The trophy, taken in Rison, weighed 19 pounds, had a 10-inch beard and 1-inch spurs. Grant is in Stacie Branson’s fourth-grade class at Jimmy Brown Elementary.
