Echavarria Leads Arkansas Into Fifth Place
ATLANTA, Ga. – Freshman Nicolas Echavarria shot six-under par, 64, on Wednesday morning at the 2013 NCAA Championship to lead the No. 9 Arkansas men’s golf team to a nine-under par day and into a tie for fifth as a team at the Capital City Club.
Echavarria is in a tie for second place as an individual, one stroke behind Arizona State’s Jon Rahm who followed up a nine-under par first day with a two-over par second.

Arkansas Sets Series With Texas Tech
FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas and Texas Tech have finalized plans to play in 2014 and 2015. Both schools announced the nonconference series Wednesday.
The Razorbacks will travel to play Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas, on Sept. 13, 2014. The teams will meet in Fayetteville on Sept. 19, 2015.

ATLANTA, Ga. – Behind a pair of even par performances from junior Sebastian Cappelen and freshman Nicolas Echavarria, the No. 9 Arkansas men’s golf team finished day one of the 2013 NCAA Championships in a tie for 14th at the Capital City Club in Atlanta, Ga., on Tuesday.
Arkansas combined to shoot six-over par as a team on the Crabapple course and sit just seven strokes behind eighth place which would put the Razorbacks into the match play portion of the event and a chance to compete for the national championship.
