COLUMBIA, Mo. — Arkansas coach Mike Anderson said several times he didn’t know what to expect stepping back into Missouri Arena.

The Tigers’ former coach got his answer after a 93-63 loss in front of an announced crowd of 15,061 in Mizzou Arena. There were boos from the crowd during pregame introductions, an inspired Missouri team determined to collect payback for last month’s disappointment at Arkansas, and a loss that equaled his largest in two seasons with the Razorbacks.

FAYETTEVILLE — Mike Anderson received a standing ovation from the Arkansas crowd during the 2007-08 season, when the former Razorbacks assistant brought his Missouri team into Bud Walton Arena to play a nonconference game.

SURPRISE, Ariz. – James McDonald had a pair of hits and drove in two runs to lead No. 25 Arizona State to a 3-2 win over No. 2 Arkansas on Thursday night at Surprise Stadium.

BATON ROUGE, La.— Charles Carmouche scored a season-high 26 points, and LSU held on for a 65-60 victory over Arkansas after nearly squandering a 22-point lead Wednesday night.

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas junior Ryne Stanek is regarded as one of the best pitchers in college baseball and has preseason All-America honors to prove it.
