The 15th annual Bill Sanders-Bo Piper Memorial Benefit Bass Tournament will be held Saturday, March 31, on the Arkansas River at Regional Park.
The event will start at safe light and end at 3 p.m.
Winners of the tournament will receive $2,500. The top 10 places are guaranteed cash and prizes.
Boats will launch according to paid registration entry number. The entry fee is $110.00 per two-person team, which includes participating in the $500.00 Big Bass pot.
Fishermen are encouraged to register early to receive a discounted entry fee. A $15.00 late fee will be assessed for those who register at the ramp on the day of the tournament.
The first 75 teams to sign up will receive a free official tournament shirt designed and made by Gary Sullivant at Vision Graphics.
Six random drawings for $50 will be given away, but in order to be eligible, the angler must have on the 2012 official Sanders-Piper Tournament shirt.
Fee also includes two tickets to the King Kat Fish Fry, which will be held in the Regional Park Waterfront facility immediately following the weigh-in. Beverages will be provided by Three Rivers Distributing Co.
The weigh-in for the event will be conducted by weigh master Gary Henderson, who is a long-time sportsman and area businessman.
Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Area Agency on Aging and all of the donations remain in Southeast Arkansas.
