Regional Champions

The 11-under (major division) Arkansas All-State travel team won the Deep South USSSA Regional Tournament in Flowood, Miss., recently. They were 4-0 scoring 44 runs and only allowing eight total runs against Oklahoma, Mississippi and Alabama. Pictured kneeling on the front row from left: Jacob Williams, Jake Wright, Chris Cagle, Matthew Waymon and Ollie Reddick; standing, Leighton Alexander, coach Alexander, Kaleb Hill, Devon Koonce, Bryan Koonce, Kam’ron Hunt, Hunter Linam and coach Jeff Williams. All-Regional tournament selections were Hunt of Pine Bluff, Devon Koonce of Redfield and Wright of Malvern.
