On June 28-30, 28 athletes from Port City S-P-E-E-D AAU Track and Field Club participated in the Area 17 National Qualifier meet which was held at Yukon High School in Yukon, Okla. For the first time in the club’s 11 year history, all 28 of the athletes qualified to participate in the 2013 AAU Junior Olympic Games. The team boasted 16 first places, 6 second places, 22 third places as well as 13 fourth places and four fifth-place wins. Listed below are the athlete’s individual accomplishments:
