Arkansas vs. ULM top performers


Kolton Browning: The pride of Mabank, Texas, the ULM junior was the thorn in the side of the Arkansas Razorbacks Saturday night, leading the underdog Warhawks to a 34-31 ovetime victory over No. 8 Arkansas. Browning passed for 412 yards, completing 42 of 67 and three touchdowns. He was sacked three times, but managed100 yards rushing, but his lost-yardage plays added up to 31 yards, which means he had a net of 69 yards. Arkansas Coach John L. Smith said Browning was the difference in the game.

Tyler Wilson: Despite a first-half injury, Arkansas’ Tyler Wilson still managed a quarterback rating of 160.3 by completing 11 of 20 for196 yards and a touchdown. He also had an interception. Wilson was 12-2 as a starter before Saturday.

Dennis Johnson: The senior running back displayed his usual tenacity at running back against ULM. Johnson was also elusive at times. He got only seven carries for 50 yards, but appeared to be a threat on almost every attempt. In the first half, Johnson had five carries for 42 yards, an 8.4 average.

Brent Leonard: ULM senior Brent Leonard of Keller, Texas, was the primary target of Kolton Browning Saturday night. Leonard had 112 yards on 11 receptions, including one touchdown in the win over Arkansas. Tavarese Maye had nine and Je’Ron Hamm and Colby Harper added six each for the Warhawks.

Cobi Hamilton: Always a threat in Little Rock games, senior Cobi Hamilton of Texarkana, Texas, had 99 yards on six receptions, including a 39-yard TD pass from Tyler Wilson with 11:08 to play in the first half.
