You have no clue just how many lives you affect and touch as you go through your life. We discovered this with the loss of our son, as each of you told us about your special encounter with Caleb Satterlee.
Caleb was the kind of person that would stop to help a stranger on the side of the road, give you anything he had if you needed it, and helped out in any way — even if he didn’t have a clue as to what he was doing! He would go out and buy 25 McDonald’s burgers just to make sure that everyone ate while visiting his dad in the hospital. He always had the time to pick on his nephew, nieces, and grandpa whenever they were around, was never too proud to let everyone hear him tell his parents or wife “I love you.” That’s how Caleb was.
We would like to thank everyone for the cards, calls, food, plants, and most of all, the prayers that went out to our family during our time of loss and sorrow. I can’t say enought to thank the Pine Bluff Fire Department for the amazing sendoff they put together to honor our Caleb. Firefighters are a true brotherhood and a unique breed of people. To the EMT’s, policemen, teachers, and staff of Drew Central, churches, friends and family — thank you.
Please keep us in your thoughts and pray that when you leave this earth you have had the opportunity to touch as many lives as Caleb did.
Our Deepest Thanks,
The Family of Caleb Satterlee
