Another vote yes for the WC millage

If one is interested in a child’s acquiring a quality education, and who isn’t, I implore each of you to vote for the 2.3 mill increase for the Watson Chapel School District.

Even though I live in the district, I no longer have an offspring in the district, which afforded a quality education for my three graduates of Watson Chapel High School. Thanks to God and the caring qualified faculty and administrators, their efforts helped to establish positive, productive attitudes in my offspring; therefore, I ask that you won’t be negative about supporting the small millage increase which is analyzed in the following manner:

If one’s home is valued at $50,000, that individual’s taxes will increase by $23 per year which equals 6 cents per day. If one’s home is valued at $100,000, that individual’s taxes will increase by $46 per year which equals 13 cents per day, and for one’s $150,000 home, taxes will be raised by $69 per year which is equivalent to only 19 cents per day.

Don’t you agree that our children are deserving of a decent education in decent facilities? Please analyze these figures and vote for our children’s educational facilities. These children are our most valuable assets and are most deserving. Remember: “Our Kids, Our Future, Our Watson Chapel.”

A caring, concerned patron of Watson Chapel school district.
