Walter Rhodes

Mr. Walter “Dusty” Rhodes, 70, of Pine Bluff, died Friday, March 15, 2013.

He was born February 12, 1943, in Pine Bluff, son of Ira and Marjorie Arnett Rhodes. Mr. Rhodes was reared and received his early education in Pine Bluff, graduating from Watson Chapel High School.

He retired as a locomotive engineer from the Cotton Belt Railroad.

Mr. Rhodes was a member of Good Faith Carr United Methodist Church.

Mr. Rhodes was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include former wife, Georgetta Rhodes; and two brothers, Vernon Rhodes and Bill Rhodes.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 20, 2013, in the Chapel at Ralph Robinson & Son.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jefferson County Humane Society, PO Box 2233, Pine Bluff, Arkansas 71613, and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 100, Dept. 300, Memphis, Tennessee 38148-0552.
