GRAPEVINE — Stanley Dee Herring, age 60, of Grapevine, died Saturday, September 14, 2013.
He was born March 22, 1953 in Pine Bluff, a son of Charles Thomas Herring and Margie Ann Croft Herring, both of Mena. Reared and educated in Newport, he was a graduate of Newport High School.
Mr. Herring was an instrument technician and pipefitter, working for Union Local 665. He was also a member of White Hall United Pentecostal Church.
An extremely avid hunter, Stan especially enjoyed turkey and hog hunting
His first wife, Carla Harper Herring predeceased him in 1987.
Along with his parents, survivors include his wife, Lorita Patton Herring; a son Charles Thomas Herring, II; his twin, Stephen Herring; and brothers, Rodney Herring and Tommy Herring.
There will be a memorial service Thursday, 10 a.m. at White Hall United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Chris Dixon officiating. Arrangements are by Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services.
The family will greet friends after the service at the church.
