Ms. Roshunda Deshae Harris, 20, of Pine Bluff, passed away, Monday, November 14, 2011. She was born in Pine Bluff to Ronnie Harris and Tressa Harris both of Pine Bluff.
She was a faithful member of Lampkin Chapel Missionary Baptist Church where she served as the director of the Praise Dance Ministry. She was a member of the praise ensemble, Instructor for the Godly Girls class and she always served as a mentor to many young people in the ministry.
She graduated from Watson Chapel High School in 2009. She was crowned Miss Debutante of Delta Omega Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. She was a fall 2011 initiate of The Alpha Rho Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. (25 Kompliments to a Perfect Pearl).
Her survivors include, brothers, Antwon Wilkins of Arlington, Texas and Andra Wilkins; sister, Jacquetta Harris both of Pine Bluff; grandfathers, Sterling Wilkins of Brinkley, Joe Harris of Los Angeles, Calif. and Fred Barnes of St. Louis; grandmothers, Nancy Barnes of St. Louis, Mo., Gloria Harris of Pine Bluff and Vivian Harris of Los Angeles, Calif.; great grandmother, Willie Mae Laws of Pine Bluff.
Her services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 19, 2011, at Fine Arts Auditorium at University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff by Reverend Learthur D. Shelton, Sr. Burial will be in Forrest Lawn Cemetery by Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff.
The family will be at 3005 Kendyl Drive, Pine Bluff.
