Funeral services for Richard Cleveland Washington, Sr. 69, of Pine Bluff, passed October 29 at his home, will be 12 noon Saturday at Union Valley Baptist Church, 282 Highway 15 N., Lonoke, Rev. Bobby Moragne officiating.
He was born November 30, 1942, son of the late Cleveland Washington, Sr. and Addie Mae Horton Cotton.
He was preceded in death by his parent and step-mother Rubie Washington; two sons Richard Washington, Charles Washington, seven siblings.
He was a member of Union Valley Baptist Church. He drove trucks for many years. He purchased his first big rig and started his own business in 1993. Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Carol Washington of Pine Bluff; two daughters, Ketina(Eric) Hickman of Benton, Vanessa Williams of Desoto, Texas; six sons, Tyrone Washington, Dexter Washington both of Lonoke, Eddie Daniel, Carlos Daniel, Reginald(Omika) Daniel all of Pine Bluff, Michael Williams of Little Rock; five sisters, Willie Gilliam, Annie Johnson, Carrie(Byron) Tolbert, Tejuana Johnson all of North Little Rock, Rosemary(James) King of Kerr; four brothers Bobby(Shirley) Moragne of Memphis, Tenn., Raymond(Dorothy) Gary, Cleveland Washington, Jr., Boris(LaTechia) Washington all of North Little Rock; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
Visitations may be made 7:15-8:15 p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Green Olive Cemetery in Lonoke by Perry Funeral Home.
